The America's Cup is a boat race. It is also a hot vinyl chair, happy people screaming from the television, a giant Kangaroo, and a feeling that something good has happened, even though you don't know what it is.

The end part of the song is taken from an episode of Peep Show. Jez asks Mark 'how thick is wall?' I was reminded of the artistry of this question once by John Mercer.
